Our sister group, NAVA Ireland, is a branch of the UK's National Anti-Vivisection Alliance.
Regular protests are held in Ireland in support of this important campaign. If you'd like to take a stand and join our fight against animal testing, contact us now: ireland@antivivisection.info

THE NATIONAL ANTI-VIVISECTION ALLIANCE:
The National Anti-Vivisection Alliance (NAVA) is the UK's leading grassroots organisation, fighting to bring a complete end to animal experimentation. Founded in July 2010, we have formed local groups across the country who campaign against animal experimentation. On a national and international level, we actively expose vivisection facilities and campaign to bring about the abolition of the use of animals for testing.
We take the stand against vivisection on the basis of both an animal rights and scientific perspective; keeping a sentient creature inside a laboratory for experimentation is ethically wrong and the results cannot be transcribed in a scientific manner which can be relied upon for any other species. Scientists, surgeons and veterinarians across the globe have given their backing to NAVA and the anti-vivisection movement we play an important role in.
Protests, publicity stunts and educational events are regularly held across the country in order to highlight the archaic cruelty happening inside UK laboratories and the thousands of animals dying every single day for 'research'. Through our strategic focus, we have cornered the supply of animals for use in vivisection and actively stopped primates, beagles and rodents been imported for use in UK experimental facilities. Our pioneering Gateway to Hell campaign is at the forefront of this, uniting groups across the country and globe. On a regular basis, we hold formal meetings and discussions with executives from some of the world's largest airlines and transport industry figures, engaging with them to refuse involvement with the transport of animals for laboratory purposes.
Through debate and activism, we are crushing the concept that animal research is needed for scientific progress, whilst drawing attention to the in-vitro alternatives which exist and the ample evidence of casualties due to pharmaceuticals, medical devices and surgical techniques being developed based on the animal model.
With groups across the UK, we are more than happy to assist. There is a part for everybody to play in ending vivisection - get involved with NAVA today and help make a difference.
