I am writing to implore you and your party to support a ban on fox hunting in Ireland.

Your party shamefully voted AGAINST a ban, when Ruth Coppinger TD put forward a bill in December 2025. As I am sure you will recall, the Irish public were outraged and it remained as a prominent topic in the media for months afterwards.

Fox hunting is cruel, barbaric and archaic – an activity that our former British colonisers (who introduced fox hunting here) have long since banned. So why do you choose to keep it here?

Over 82% of the public are in favour of a ban on fox hunting, it’s time you reflected the wishes of your constituents and took action to rid Ireland of this horrific form of animal abuse.
